Medium: Acrylic paint, glazing medium, black ink, on maps

This was based on an assignment for school, it had to be about a journey/or our home my kind of covers both. Basically im saying my roots are in hinsdale but i get my motivation to keep living in this hell hole from random trips downtown chicago, thats where my heart really is. I get their via metra trains and i meet my friend there. also i maked places of importance with small dots. This piece is very symbolic. I used cliche metaphors but i dont think it looks cliche it actually works well.

mind you that this piece is supposed to be flipped the skyline is suppose to be on the bottom, but my computer photo program just decided it didnt want to be my friend anymore
